LOL I just got done with our Grandparents day cards....we do cards only usually cause my parents are in NY (we're in FL) and Paul's family only celebrates Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving...my mom (who works for hallmark cards) so nicely reminded me today that sunday is Grandparents day...anywho since we are doing just cards I found a "handprint poem" for the great grandparents....Nathan's handprint goes on every card he gives to anyone which is kind of a neat way to see how much he grows each holiday besides pictures....the poem will be on one side of the card it says " A Grandchild's Hand"
The promise of tomorrow And the hope of dreams come true...A reminder of the childhood that is still a part of you The wonder of a miracle From which this love began...There is so much found in the touch of a granchild's hand. I know they sell these cute frames at target where there is clay included you could do the girls handprint on one side and then the poem on another

Then for the "grandparents" I found another poem I put Nathan's picture on the front of the card and his handprint will go on the back of the card with the date...the poem says..."I sit, stand, crawl, climb, eat, nap and play. I'm a very busy guy, with a lot to explore but I thought I'd take a moment, to explain why it's you I adore. When I come to visit, It is easy to see; The joy and excitement that comes over me. You read to me, sing to me, dance, play, or hold me. You feed me and spoile me, and never do you scold me. You are always happy, you are always fun. When I need attention YOU are the one. Grandma and Grandpa, you are so special and you make ME feel special too! These are some of the reasons why I want to wish a Happy Grandparents day to you!
Thats what we're doing...oh one christmas I made my parents a calender each month had a different picture of either just Nathan, or Nathan with one of my parents, or both with different quotes, I've also gotten them travel coffee mugs with Nathan's picture on it....HTH good luck!
