GRANDMA AND MAX: FIRST TRIP WITH A 5 YEAR OLD BOY

My first post but not my first trip to WDW but this IS my first trip with my 5 year old grandson (his sister got the same trip when she turned 5). Planning to come the week after Labor Day and hoping to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. So whats analogous to the Princess breakfast that a boy will love? (I am not sexist; Max has been very specific that he does not want to see the princesses. )Heard about a pirate cruise...??? )Any other boy things?? Thanks for all help!!

At Hollywood and Vine they have a Disney jr character breakfast, I think Jake is still there. And my daughter loves the morning pirate cruise. It is kids only (with CMs) the kids go out on a boat and make several stops to look for treasure. She had gone from CB, GF and BC. Personally I liked the one that left from GF the best.

A couple of option there is a Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House or Mickey's Backyard BBQ.
There is also a Pirates league at MK to transform in a swashbuckler pirate. I would look into outfit for a pirate before you go, like from Melissa & Doug. http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-...d=1424117202&sr=8-2&keywords=pirate+costume
I am unsure about the pirate cruise I think its for kids 4-13 but the adult does not attend?
