We are going to stay at GV this year and we will have our 4 year old dd and 1 year old ds with us.

Which area would be best suited for us if we want to stay in a building close to a kiddie pool and adult pool and the Market Place.

When and to whom should we make this request if this is an exchange through II?

Do they provide pool towels?

Are there showers at the pool?

Does anyone know where I can get a layout of the resort?

What is the closest grocery store or are we better off going to the Super Walmart?

That's all I can think of right now.

are you talking about the Marriott's Grande VIsta - or something else?

The main pool area is the one with the MarketPlace deli. Building 81 is closest but tends to be filled with owners. You may want to call the resort directly with any requests, about 4-7 days prior to your arrival. The phone number should be listed on your confirmation paper from II or on the II online directory.

Pool towels are provided but I cannot remember whether they were at the poolside or extra towels in your room. There are the usual, rinse-off showers near the pool but we didn't need private shower facilities by the pool so I never looked for them. There are rest rooms nearby.

The only useful resort map that I know of, is in the TUG review for this resort. You would need to be a TUG member to access it. There is a Publix in a shopping center a mile or so north on S. Int'l Dr. Enjoy!

Marriott's
