Grande Villas Resort or Bonnet Creek

We are trying to decide between Grande Villas Resort or Bonnet Creek. I will be traveling with my mom and two daughters (12 and 15). In addition to the parks we plan to spend a couple days at the resort so we are looking for a good pool experience. We will have a rental car. Has anyone stayed at both places that can provide a recommendation? Has anyone had a great experience at either resort - or not so great experience?

What's the price difference? That may be a deciding factor. One is a 3-star hotel and the other 4-star.

I second @BigredNole, what's the price difference? If the prices are the same, WBC for sure. In my experience, prices are not the same, so I sometimes choose based on price. For example, we are staying at Grande Villas over Easter for $599 in a 2 bedroom. Rates at WBC were much higher when we were looking to book (about $400-$600 more), so we chose Grande Villas. We've stayed at both and both are perfectly acceptable, but WBC is nicer than Grande Villas. Not $400-$600 nicer for us, but you may choose differently based on your circumstances.

I have stayed at both. I like them both.Grande villas is a smaller resort. With 2 nice pools and hot tubs. Rooms are very nice. Everything is nice and walkable. Lots of restaurants near by. Mini putt and kids activities.
BC def has more going on. Bigger resort more activities. Rooms are nice. I do find traffic nuts there because of where it is. But you will be fine either way

Thank you! We will be spending a few days at the Orange County Convention Center for some events so I am a little worried about the traffic around BC. Were you able to walk to restaurants from Grande Villa or did you drive everywhere?

We did both. We walked sometimes. There is a chilis, marconi club, joes crab shack close. Back side of resort has a great road to go on. Look up on google map. The wynne dixie at the backside of resort has an awesome twistee treat ice cream place

We have stayed at both. For us Bonnet Creek wins hands down. Pool are is so much nicer. It is also connected to a hotel, so you can always go to the hotel for their dining options as well as the pool/bar areas at Bonnet Creek.

Grande Villas was fine, but we also found the walls to be VERY thin...we could hear everything going on around us.
