We are planning our 4 yo GDD's first Disney Trip. We are going December 7th to 13th. We are planning on going to MVMCP on Tuesday and have booked BBB for GDD at 5pm. :cool1:

Our original plans were for September, but decided to change to December. We are staying at the Shades of Green because we got a good rate there. Our first BBB reservation was for DTD, but when we changed our dates I was able to get a reservation at MK. Obviously we are going to get her the Castle Package.

We have also booked Hollywood & Vine breakfast on Thursday. She loves all the Disney Junior characters, so this was a no brainer. DH wants to get the Memory Maker.

We got personalized shirts that have characters on the front and "Natalie's First Disney Trip 2014" on the back. We each have our own character. Mine is Tinker Bell with "Natalie's Mimi" on it, DH's is Grumpy with "Natalie's Grumpy", my DD's (her mom) has Dory and "Natalie's Mom" and then her's has Sophia and her name. GDD calls my DH Grumpy instead of Grandpa.

We will probably get another shirt with something similar on it but different pictures. We are thinking of also booking a carriage ride through Fort Wilderness Campgrounds and the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage.

We just want this to be as magical a trip as we can for her. pixiedust:

Since we are driving we opted to rent a stroller through an outside company instead of hauling one down.

My DH said that if my hip is still not better, we will be renting a scooter. I am going to make sure I do what ever it takes to get this healed because I don't want to rent a scooter if I don't have to. I got a temporary handicap card since I am on crutches, but only because of that. I can't wait for our trip and to be off these crutches!

Sounds wonderful!! You are reminding me of my first (solo) trip with DGrd10 - she was also 4 and we went for MVMCP. She did her 1st BBB before the party and wore her Belle's red Xmas dress and posed with Belle that night - still one of my fav pics.
We are now planning her 11th b'day trip for the end of summer (oh my, where does the time go?;)). I hope every moment of your trip is magical and that you have as many more trips with your DGrD as I have been blessed with! Enjoy!:goodvibes
PS: we did P&P Voyage 2 summers ago and LOVED it - great and relaxing way to see Wishes - especially to give your hip a rest.

Sounds fantastic! She will love it!!

We will be there in November..Planning a Sweet 16 breakfast at Cinderella Castle for my daughter. Having an etched glass slipper brought to the table as a surprise and the Cinderella slipper dessert!!!:cloud9:

We too are doing a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness. Looking forward to it.

Have a great time!!! Happy Planning....:goodvibes

Bjakmom - my DH & I did the P&P FW Voyage a couple years ago too. It was just the two of us on that trip and we really enjoyed it. I laughed because Mr. Smee & Capt Hook fought over who I was going to walk with.

My DH fell in love with Disney after his first visit. We know our GDD is just going to love everything.

You'll have so much fun!

We are also taking DGD for her first trip in Dec. :yay: Can't wait. She will only be 16 months, but her parents are going too, as well as her aunt and god mother are going too, so plenty of people for her to go around with and spoil her.
Our character meal will be Garden Grill. DDIL wanted one with Mickey.
We'll be there the same time as you.
