Grand Wailea Report

Hi! My daughter and I spent a week at the Grand Wailea over spring break. It was great! We got the deluxe ocean room & had a great view. Very point intensive - it was three years worth of points, but worth every one. We did so much in Maui and has so much fun. There is absolutely no way we could have swung the GW without the DVC.

Ah, the Grand Wailea....so beautiful.

Which wing were you in? Did you try any of the restaurants? The spa?

We stayed in the Haleakala wing - we were near the ballroom and parking garage. We ate at the Bistro Molokai, the Cafe Kula and the Grotto. Generally, I thought the food overpriced for the quality. Definately, no complaints about the room though, especially the view!

We also stayed their! I did not go into the pool elevator! Did you go to the winery? YUM YUM

I didn't go to the winery nor the pool elevator. In fact, we spent very little time in the pool- mostly we were at the beach when we were not going someplace else.

I am in the process of going through and editing the pictures we took (close to 5,000 - if you can believe it!). When I am done, I will be putting pics on Webshots. Can I post a link to my pictures here? (I am not too clear on the rules of the board.)
