Grand villas at OKW vs BWV

We are considering a family trip to Disney for Christmas 04 with 4 adults and 4 kids. Two options appeal to us, a Grand Villa or a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. When we checked the number of points for each option, we were suprised to see that a Grand Villa at OKW was less than the 1 and 2 bedroom option. However, when we looked at BWV, the Grand Villa was considerably more points than the 1 and 2 bedroom option (standard view). Does anyone know why there is this disparity?

I believe all GVs at BWV are right on the BW and have the "BW view" point structure. That's probably the reason for the disparity.

The average penalty for a GV at OKW (compared to a 2 BR plus a studio) is 120% while it's more like 150% at BWV. To get the same sleeping capacity, the 2 BR plus a studio is the best comparison to a GV. A 2 BR and a 1 BR at OKW should be pretty close to a GV while it BWV the GV will still be somewhat more but it varies somewhat by season. The reason is because they can. It has nothing directly to do with location but more that they found out they could charge this much and that BWV only has a few GV compare to OKW. It's the same arguement as to why BWV, etc are more points than OKW, there are many factors but in generally boils down to supply and demand.
