Grand Villas/AKV???????

Can someone show me a map of where these GV are located at Jambo. Will be making ressies and trying to figure out what savanna to request and what location. Thanks!

If you look at the jambo map, you will see "arms" that stick out. Those arms have GVs on the ends.

Thanks! Which GV or savanna would you recommend that I request? Obviously I'm looking for a room with a great view of the animals since we are bringing my family for the first time

There is a wonderful map of Jambo House here that shows the location of the GVs in pink. The GV near the pool (5483) is HA and has a roll-in shower in the master bathroom.

looking at that map it doesn't appear that much of the GVs overlook any of the savannahs

Has anyone stayed in a Jambo GV? How was the view?

All the GV's overlook a savanna. The views are fine.

The Savannah's are not encapsulated between the wings but surround the whole building. All the GV's have Savannah views but I think 5483 - the HA GV - may have a so-so view with some trees.

We saw lots of animals from our balcony in room 5483. This was a great location. The elevator at the end of the hall took us directly to the pool or more importantly the pool bar(LOL). Susan

Are there any HA GVs in Kidani?

I keep wishing someone will come up with a map of Kidani that shows the location of all of the villa types.

I did read somewhere that all of the Kidani accessible rooms were located in the first or second bead from the lobby. So now all we have to do is look to see if any GVs are located there. And even if there is not a GV in one of those four beads (two on each side of the lobby), then Disney will have at least one accessible Grand Villa somewhere. However, there is nothing they can do about the fact that the GVs are two story units. At BLT, you can enter the villa on both the upper and lower floors with your KTTW, don't know about Kidani.

There is a GV in the first bead off of the lobby on the 4th and 5th floor. It's Unit 99A, but I do not know the room number. Also looking at the floor plan I couldn't tell if it's an accessible villa. It's part of Sixteenth Amendment to the AKV Declaration, Document Number 20080558776.

I also remember the TSMIII has a thread about AKV and it's declarations, he states that on HA GV has been declared. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=33507103&postcount=95

we will be in a grand villa for the first time August 20th and we cant wait

This will also be our first trip to our "original" home! We have 4 "first timers" coming with us as well. I hope the views are awesome
