Grand Villa transferring pts

I'm trying to get a mini reunion together for early 2007. This could involve up to 5 families all with at least 2 kids. If only some can come we will be fine with 2-two bedrooms or maybe even one Grand Villa. If all we would like to invite do show up we will have 23 (including 2 infants). Our home resort is SSR and even with borrowing and banking we would not make the pts for that many at SSR. We would, however, be able to swing 2 grand villas at OKW. I'm thinking that what I need to do is find someone with OKW as a home resort who would be willing to make the reservations for me at the 11 month window and then we could transfer my points to them. Has anyone ever done this before? I've got a pretty good handle on the banking and borrowing but I'm a bit unclear on the transferring.

(On a side note: If both myself and DH get annual passes, I think we can both get a DDE's and cover 10 people each. Has anyone ever used 2 at the same time?)

How many points do you have? What is your use year? If you had say an AUG use year and 220 points you could use 2 or 3 years worth of points for the start of a stay in July and then a fourth years' points starting on AUG 1--or vice versa--use 1 year of banked points at end of JULY and then 3 years worth starting AUG 1--or 2 and 2 on either side of JULY 31st--in other words-you could use as much as 880 pts for one stay spread across the end of one use year and the start of another.

UY is April.300 pts. So if we use all of 2006 and borrow from 2007 = 600pts.
Grand villa at SSR is 67/nite in adventure so 335 for one or 670 for two.
At OKW the Grand Villa is only 36/nite so 180 for one and 360 for two.
I guess I could rent the additional 70 points for SSR but honestly, I wouldn't mind saving the points if possible.

I can hear so many previous posters saying buy where you want to stay and I do see where it does make a difference but this is probably the only time the 11 month window will ever come into play.

Well this year is not a good year for this, but in a couple of years April 2008 when March 30 falls on a SUNDAY-- if you went at the end of MARCH and beginning of APRIL you could use 600 points= 300 borrowed from April 2006 and 300 from APRIL 2007 then 600 more points once the APRIL 1 part of the trip starts with 300 for APRIL 2008 and borrow up to 300 more from April 2009...you could have two GV for 5 nights at 1080 points...of course it does hurt a bit that you have an APRIL UY because end of March and start of April are Magic or Premier season...better USE years straddle lower point times...
