My family and I are planning a trip for July 2018, a split stay at AK and BCV. :yay: Our plan is to stay in the GV at AK for the first 5 days, however I read somewhere that as a DVC member, we could use our points to stay at AK club level (2 bedroom, I believe). Is club level worth the points and worth not being in the GV? As a DVC member, would we get the same "perks" in club level? Any suggestions would be great!

Stick with the GV, CL isn't worth it IMO plus getting a reservation there is next to winning the lotto.

Do you own at AKV? If not, Club Level is nearly impossible to book. It looks like you own BCV? You will not get AKV Club at 7 months, even in low season.

I've never stayed club level at DVC, just Marriott and Hilton lounges. I concur with the GV point of view. I've only stayed OKW GV, but the space was wonderful. Certainly more of a "value" than a club lounge would provide. At least for us.

There are only 5 - 2BR lock offs that are Club level so very diffcult to get as you are competing against those booking studios and 1BR's too. Given the choice between a GV at AKV and club level it's a no brainer IMO - GV all the way.

I also like the GV at Jambo better than Kidani as it has three balcones on one level with a billiard table in one room

Thank you everyone! Your suggestions sound like they are spot on. GV all the way! Thanks again! pixiedust:
