Would love to book 2 nights of a split stay at a GV for my party of 3 couples and 2 singles, but I'd like to have the 3 bedrooms plus 2 sleeper sofas. It appears that this configuration is available at Kidani and at BLT. Anywhere else? Info I found indicates that there are 14 units at Kidani and 8 lake view units at BLT (I don't have enough points for the theme park view, unfortunately). Is all my research going to be a moot point when I can't get either of these at 7 months for a stay next June?

OKW has a sofa bed and a sleeper chair in the living room. I think Kidani and BLT are the only 2 that have the 2 sleeper sofas.

Yes my home is OKW but I’m just wanting something different and like the units that have 2 sleeper sofas.

I would book at OKW at 11 months, then try for BLT or AK-K at 7 months. Availability will depend on when you wish to go. Fall - Winter will be difficult.

Yes that's the plan. I'm just trying to figure out what I want to try to switch to at 7 months so I can structure my split stay and make sure I have enough points. I've had good luck in the past at 7 months, but I've never tried for a GV anywhere else but OKW. This is for June 2022.

As far as probabilities go, in the past the Kidani savanna view GVs have been open all of June at 7-months out. The BLT GV's are usually less than 50% chance, although, if seeking only two nights, odds are likely better.

I’ve stayed in GVs at both Kidani and BLT. They’re both great; it just depends on what you’ll be doing. BLT has all the monorail resorts handy for dining, and the walk to the MK is nice. Having coffee or a cocktail on your balcony while watching the animals is great too. Sanaa is a wonderful restaurant. The only downside is buses for every park

OKW also has an extra bathroom just off the living room for the living room sleepers.

I think about 50% of the resorts that have GV’s have the 4th bathroom. I’m surprised that RIV doesn’t. I’m surprised RIV 1 and 2 bedrooms don’t have the extra bathroom either. Seems like a big error to me. More like cost savings.
