Hi, we have rented a grand villa for our next trip. Has anyone managed to get restaurant entrees brought to your villa or made "to go" so that you can eat them in your private dining area? I am specifically asking for Copper Creek and the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Maybe my question was misleading. I am talking about a Disney restaurant in the same building. Are they offering to bring meals to your room rather than sit down dining.

Not that I have seen. Some are allowing you to order and pick-up (like Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary), but they were not doing it like room service. You still had to go and get it from the restaurant to bring back to your room.

GF has room service, no one else has gotten it back.

But you have Doordash and Uber eats or mobile order. But you have to go pick it up.

And, when we were at VGF last fall, the room service menu was very limited. Only 3 entrees for dinner.

It may also have been breakfast and dinner only. There was something else that surprised me though I no longer recall just what.

There aren't really room service yet other then VGF. However, if you're looking for a nice catered meal that's disney like there are lots of "former" disney employees who now cater and will bring to your villa on the facebook group ears for each other.

Even back when they had room service, they didn't do restaurant delivery - the room service menu was separate from any of the restaurants. Also, last I checked none of the restaurants did "to go" either. The kitchens are staffed and stocked to provide for their high capacity restaurants and there isn't extra capacity for to go orders.

I mean, mobile order pretty much is to go. Lots of restaurants have it. After Covid, ones that you wouldn't think have it even, like Sanaa and Trattatora Al Forno.
