My wife and I and my daughter usually spend three weeks in BWV STD VIEW each year
2019 we are bringing our Two Sons and their Families total 11 people. We own 940 points at BWV And 300 at OKW where would you stay and Why?

What a great trip! Because of not wanting to climb steps to my villa, and location, I always would choose BWV OVER OKW.

For the opportunity to spend 3 weeks at WDW I honestly would be happy with either.

So, I am torn....either one you can get, would be great!

Bobbi:)

Personally, for three weeks, I would split stay. There are limited number of GV at BWV, as there are 22 at OKW, but only 2 at the HH at OKW.

:jumping1:I always look with envy through the big doors of the Grand villas at Boardwalk but I am not sure where they are at Okw and what the views are like

3 weeks in a GV? WOW - I say BWV, split stays people either love em or hate em. I'm in the boat of hate em only do if I need, with that said I would get an AP and EPCOT and DHS turns into an extension of the BWV. I just think the options and stuff to do at the BWV location for all ages is best, and easier to get to any of the parks.

Now OKW will allow you to maximize your points better that BWV but if I could swing it...location location location

you are right comes down to points and space Okw vs Bwv location close to Epcot and Hollywood studios and the many restaurants of the Boardwalk and Beach club.
Would have to here from someone who has stayed at both

OKW GVs start on the second floor. One bedroom upstairs only has two double beds instead of two queens because it is smaller than the other one with two queens. There is a really handy bathroom on the main floor near the entrance (a fourth one) that any guests using the sleeper sofa or sleeper chair can use. The master bedroom and bathroom was really large. We were in Bldg 15 with a golf course view.

Thanks for helpful information

OKW, love the landscaping, larger rooms and décor of rooms. Also ability to park in front of building is a plus. BW is a good choice. If I were staying for three weeks, I would do what others are suggesting, a split stay.

What are their chances of getting a Grand Villa at BWV for three weeks?

I'd say depending on time of year, with the 11m advantage? Pretty good chance. It would be like walking, but you never drop any days.

I book BW grand villas all the time but they are not easy to get. I got two side by side for the first week in Dec this year. I had to walk to get them . They are worth every penny. They have been fully renovated, conveniently located to elevators and have a wonderful view of fireworks and the boardwalk. To me there is not better view or location in all of Disney. The space is incredible with huge TV's in every room, a large washer and dryer room and a decent kitchen. The balconies on some units are bigger than others but all have adequate space for a large group. I really appreciate the larger safes in every bedroom that are big enough to hold multiple laptops as I was robbed in a grand villa in 2011 of many electronic devices I use for my job. I have always found the Boardwalk staff to be very welcoming and love the community hall where you can ask to take movies by just signing them out.
