There are 10 of us going in Nov 2010 and I cannot decide whether to go for the grand villa or just get us 3 studios or maybe 2 of the 2 bedrooms??? I would love any opinions you can give. I know it will be more points for the villa but at this point it does not really matter...I will have to borrow anyway to do it! Just looking for advice on which direction to look. If it helps there will be 5 adults, 3 teens, and two little ones.

thank you!

How many separate families are in the group? We have done it both ways, once with 3 - 2 bedrooms and once with a GV and a 2 bedroom. Having 3 - 2 bedrooms gave everyone a chance for some private time and also provided 6 bathrooms (we were at BWV). If you are at Kidani there would be 3 bathrooms in each 2 bedroom. The big advantage of the GV was having a large space where we could all gather for a couple of evening meals.

I would think needing a kitchen or not would make a difference if considering the studios.

We had 12 and got the GV and a studio at Jambo. The GV at Jambo was amazing. Having the studio helped us out because we had three families with 5 teenagers and the sleeping arrangements worked out better this way. Another time we had 8 adults and got two 2bd. Having privacy was very nice.

Grand Villa at Jambo is best there is, single story, pool table, huge living space, large panoramic view balconies. Whether you want to do that depends on your group (are you OK with being in same villa entire time, if so go for it). Kidani GV is two-story (good but not as good as a single story). GV costs fewer points than two 2BR savanna view rooms.
