Grand Slam Club

My BF has already completed it with our Fantasy cruise in March. I have to wait until January to sail the Magic. From my first cruise it will have taken 20 months to complete the Grand Slam.

Not me, but my retired parents who are super cute DCL fans. They even go without us (or the grandkids)

Made Grand Slam within 30 months

Wonder to the Bahamas (Dec 2010)
Wonder to Alaska (July 2011)
Dream to the Bahamas (Oct 2011)
Fantasy Western Caribbean (Nov 2012)
Magic in the Med (June 2013)

Their next cruise is the WBTA 2014. 14 days on the ship

Hit the DCL GS this past June on the Fantasy. Took 9 years and 8 cruises to hit it. Next up, getting to Platinum.

I am confused, I thought a being in the Grand Slam club meant you have sailed on all 4 ships. How can you have multiple grand slams?

I would consider a grand slam hitting each ship once. I have hit each ship at least twice. wouldn't that give me 2 grand slams? That is just my reasoning IMHO.

We made Grand Slam January 19, 2013 on the Fantasy.

Will have a B2B on the Fantasy in January 2014 and a New Years Eve Cruse on the Magice in Dec 2014 to make Platnium. Took 11 years to make the Grand Slam.

That's the same way I look at it. We've completed 2 grand slams & working on the 3rd.
