Grand Photoshoot & Photopass

What is the latest and greatest deal if you prepurchase the photopass CD. In Oct we got the discounted CD and the free sitting and all the photos on our Photopass CD.... WHAT A DEAL
Are any of these offers still good? We aren't going until Sept 08, but I keep my eyes (and ears) open for deals... I can't even find the prepurchase price deal site, last time a diser posted the link for me why do they make it so hard to find???

We did the photo shoot for $25 as we had prepurchased the CD.

We prepurchased ours yesterday. No "bonuses" other than the 20% discount on the price.

You CAN schedule a photo shoot at the GF for a $25 sitting fee, but I'm not sure how you go about it. I've just heard it mentioned in other photopass discussions.

does anyone know if you can purchase the photopass and shoot now for sept/oct

The photoshoot is at the grand floridian with a disney photopass photographer, 30 minutes We got it for free last sept with the purchase of our photopass.

All the photos were added to our photopass. There were five of us and it was RUSHED. I would suggest anyone doing it schedule for at least and hour before sunset because we were told it was too dark to do pictures inside, but it was more dark outside... many of the pictures show just us with no background... kind of defeats the purpose of doing them at disney
Photos are taken at different locations around the outside of the hotel.
they did one in the stairs inside... didn't look too dark to me. I wondered if it was because there was a wedding doing photos that they made us go outside.
Did get a couple nice pictures thought, so for free it was worth it, and I would know more about timing this go around.

i think you can not schedule the shoot till 30 days out. If I am wrong someone will fix it.

We did this five weeks ago. The shoot is bookable 30 days in advance and is currently $50 without cd pre-purchased and $25 with pre-purchased cd. They took about 90 photos over 20 minutes and for a family of four they took about 12 of each child on their own, about 12 of myself and DH as a couple some of each adult with each child and the other 40 or so of us as a group of four. There are some iffy ones mainly due to one of us squinting in the sun but there are also some lovely ones of us as a family which you don't get without photopass. They give you some guidance on the clothes to wear and what won't come out so well. Well worth the money.
