Grand Hotel - Mackinac Island

Does anyone know if the service charge (think its 19%) that the Grand Hotel charges in addition to the room rate and tax is included when we exchange points, or would we have to pay for it separately?

We stayed there about 5 years ago on a trade and I think we paid it. Maybe someone else has a better memory than I do or has been more recently.
