Grand Gatherings?

Our little family trip has suddenly morphed into a joint trip with friends. As the member of the group with the most experience with meal planning at WDW, I've have been put in charge of, well, the planning of meals. I have several ideas of fun places for a large group to dine, but am unsure of the way I should book PSs. Can I book for a large group (12) in the traditional way, or do I need to utilize the large group services? Anyone have any experience, advice in this area? HELP!!!

We are a party of 8 arriving March 5th for our adventure! Staying on property or off? You can make reservations for the Hoop De Doo show or the Luau a year or more in advance. Have you gone to the WDW site to download the planner? We didn't use it to its fullest potential..but it's great if you are all spread out around the country and can all get on a computer and look together! Just remember..you are not going to be able to please everybody all of the time!!
