The agency from Intercot posted new info on Disney's Grand Gatherings. Have not seen it mentioned anywhere else yet.

Okay, who knows more about this? I am travelling with 10 people next year - a true family reunion deal. I would love to use some of these events. BUT...I am booking us rooms at BCV on points - I am a DVC member. So does that mean I can't use these things if I am not booking a package?...if so...well to be blunt...it sucks.

I, too, have lots of questions about the new plan. I have had my share of group vacations at WDW where I have been the primary planner for everything (hotel reservations, airline tickets, airport transportation, meals, special activities). It would have been wonderful to have had help from Disney. I wish the new plan were effective at the end of October because I could have used it. Hopefully, Disney will release information soon so that I can determine if it will be a service that I will use in the future. Any help that I can get with planning a group vacation at WDW would surely be appreciated.

Too bad we only have 6 going this summer. I would like to try the following:

International Storybook Dinner - A sumptuous Epcot® dinner includes storytelling for kids, followed by reserved viewing for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth on World Showcase Lagoon.
