Grand Gathering??

So what is the advantage of registering as a Grand Gathering? There are 9 of us in January but we are in a Grand Villa, so no need for close rooms. Are there other advantages?

You can do the grand gathering safari at the animal kingdom, the good morning breakfast at MK, the Fireworks Voyage to see the fireworks. The safari and the breakfast you can use the dining plan to do if you are on it. the safari is 2 dining credits and the breakfast is one. The fireworks voyage is only one. if you go to the disney web site and search grand gatherings it will tell you what you can do and how much everything costs. We leave friday for Disney and we are doing the fireworks voyage on saturday and the safari on sunday. when are you going??? If its after I get back, I'll tell you how it was!!! PM me if you like. I'll be back on the 25th.

Can you still do a grandgathering if you don't stay on property? I'm interested in the meals and the firework cruise. Thanks

The whole group must stay on Disney property to qualify. Here is the link to the website with all the information.

Look under "Special Products" for information about the things you can do. We have done the fireworks voyage and the breakfast at Tony's. I would recommend both of them!

Only 80% of your group must stay on property. Thats what the guy told us. My sisters boyfriends family are going with us on the safari and they are staying off property. I called to see if they could go with us and he said yes, as long as 80% of the group is on property and they have our grand gatherings number that they could go with us. So they paid up and are going this coming sunday!!!
