Grand Gathering ???

I know completely nothing about "Grand Gathering". I am trying to talk my family & extended family into a trip to Disney May 28 '07. There would be at least 12 of us.

Is the Grand Gathering something they offer all the time and exactly....
WHAT IS IT???

I was real excited about our "Grand Gathering" last November but I think I probably didn't handle it right. We had a group of 15 from 5 families. They didn't do our ressies for us like I thought they would. There were several extra activities (with extra fees) that you could do though like dessert fireworks cruises of epcot and dinner with the safari. One thing that we really enjoyed though was things like the safari ride in AK and soarin' at epcot by our sheer number we had a whole set to ourselves.
