Hello everyone,
I am planning a 5 day trip to DW with both my kids (33 y.o. twins) both spouses and all 6 grandkids (2-11 y.o.).:grouphug::banana:This is a surprise for all the grandkids and i want to make a special Surprise bag, I was thinking back pack but was wondering if it gets to be a pain carrying it around. I also am in need of ideas for the large age range of items to make for the bag. I want them to have special one of a kind or personalized items. What are the items we will really need to take into the park each day? Will they need a back pack at all?

i was also wondering what all the "trends" are that go on in DW. I am aware of the pin trading and altered pennies but I want to make sure my kids are in the loop and not left out on any of the fun.

You all have inspired me and I am amazed at the knowledge, talent and willingness to help I have found here. Any and all advice will be truly appreciated and accepted.I am anxiously awaiting all of your replies!! Have a happy Disney day!!:love::love:

How much they need to take into the park each day depends on a lot but I would say 1-2 bags for the family might be all ou need. They will need sunscreen (at all times of year), sunglasses, and something to keep them busy if a line is long but there are so many things they could enjoy. I know there have been some really good threads of things people have made for begs like this I would do a search for goodie bags or the like on the Dis and check the threads that come up.

Congrats and enjoy the trip.

I would say that antibacterial gel or wipes of some sort would be essential.

I agree that everyone won't need their own backpack, but maybe a goodie bag for each kid would be nice. You could throw in things like an autograph book, small toys to entertain, battery operated mini fans or fan squirt bottles, tubes of pennies and quarters, chapstick (with spf! And maybe name labels), and maybe make everyone a tshirt. The amazing people on the disign section are great about making fun images that could be put on shirts with iron on tranfer paper.

Also, some people like to have Tinkerbell or Mickey bring their kids presents each night. Then the little ones have a surprise each morning. Might be something to consider.

Good luck! Sounds like it will be an amazing trip!

I Knew y'all would come through!! Thank you all so much for the ideas, I am making my lists.... Love the luggage tag idea and will also adapt it for the stroller, Autograph books are a MUST, T shirts, defiantly gonna do that, I never thought about the mini fans, chap stick, sunscreen and antibacterial wipes. :grouphug:(((BIG HUGS)))):grouphug: to you all, You are now part of my "Disney Memories" I have told my daughter and daughter in love (law) to come on over and hang out too!!
