Hi,

We are going to disney for my parent's 40th anniversary in August. We've been several times before, but never with a large group. My typical dining choices are hampered by tables that don't seat groups of 11. Disney has said that Chef Mickey's and Ohana can accomodate. Anyone know of any others?

Thanks!

Biergarten at Epcot might be fun--don't know if they have a table for 11, but two tables side by side, facing the show would be easy for everyone to visit with one another.

In 2005 16 of us sat together at Chef Mickeys(one long table) and at Hoop Dee Doo we sat tables next to each other, one sat 10 and the other 6. When making the resevation's I was told that if we took the first sitting of the day at each meal we could probably sit together anywhere we wanted a ressie. Susan

Biergarten has tables for 8. I am not sure they have larger ones. But they could be seated at a table close together.

We have eaten with groups larger than 11 at Cape May. We've done this several times, and even without an ADR.

We've done this and decided we don't all have to sit at one big table every night - so your dining choices do not need to be hampered if on some nights you will break up into two tables.

An important thing is to get your reservastions either within the first 20 minutes of the restaurant opening, or just before closing. That way you can be pretty sure of being seated together.

There is a difference between a table for eleven and having a group of eleven dining together. You can get several smaller tables together for a party of eleven. For example, at LeCellier, I made a reservation for a party of 12. We had three tables of four all together. I also did this at Cape May Buffet for ten people - one table for six and the table next to it for four.

So you can get reservations for a party of eleven even if you don't have one table for eleven people.

I made a reservation last week for our August trip. No problem getting a table for 12 at Boma.

We just returned from a Grand Gathering in January with exactly 11 people! We ate everywhere we wanted and either got several tables pushed together or sat at two tables next to each other. It was never a problem.
