Grand Gathering # from your hotel

Is anyone doing a Magical Gathering? I was told that before I could make a reservation for any of the Magical Gathering special activities, I had to get in contact with my hotel, in this case, Shades of Green, and be assigned a "Grand Gathering" number. I got with the hotel, gave them all the info they needed and now I sit here waiting...how long does it take for a resort to issue a number? It's been a week. Am I being impatient?

My family did one in August and it was issued immediately...I thought you had to be staying at a WDW resort to qualify, maybe the folks at SOG are trying to work that out for you?

I was issued one over the phone when we made our ressies for October. I'd call them back and ask what's going on.

Same here. We just got back and did three of the four MG. Safari, Illuminations and Fireworks Voyage. The Safari and Illuminations include huge dinners. I think we enjoyed the Safari at AK the best of the three.
