:D

hello again, i just checked if that is also the case with 4 nights on land and 3 night at sea and it is not. it seems to be only 3 days land and 4 nights at sea.

I was curious so I checked our cabin type and you can stay at the Grand Floridian with a cat. 10 as well. The total package however costs more than the standard hotels that would be included. eg: $3300 for 3 people rather than $2100.00. They just seem to be making it easier for people to detmine pricing for the hotel upgrades easier.

:D

I was checking the price for Cat. 12 and noticed that the Wilderness was marked - and yes, then the price updated, and it was several hundred dollars higher. So, yes, it is listing all of the available resorts, but if you go above the normal resorts for each category, it will be a higher price.

I know that many people love the Grand Floridian, but we stayed there once back in the early days of the cruise line, when you got an upgrade through the Castaway Club, and next to Caribbean Beach it is our least favorite WDW hotel! We were in a room with a hallway overlooking the lobby area of one of the outer buildings, and it was loud, loud, loud. Every morning we were awakened early by kids yelling...it's not that they were being overly loud or rude, but if they were yelling downstairs in the lobby area, the sound carried right up. We also had strange next door neighbors...we could always tell which room was ours from the monorail because they had taken brightly colored rain ponches and festooned them on their balcony. I'd take Wilderness Lodge or Boardwalk anyday, although I do love the restaurants at GF...it's a nice place to eat, but I wouldn't want to stay there :smooth:

hi Barb thanx for the info, we have never stayed at GF. My DH is thinking it may be a little to snooty for us. We did not like CBR at all ,we love the all star music.I always wanted to stay at the poly. anyway i guess we will have to vote on it LOL. Julie

Jubury,

Having only one trip to WDW under our belt, we certainly are not experts. However, we really loved our stay at the Poly. Of course, I am sure it all depends on what you like to do. For us, with DS 5, we knew we would spend a lot of time at the MK, so we wanted to be close to the monorail. We went in Dec, and the park closed at 6:00. So, we would head back about 5:00 via either monorail or water taxi and play on the Poly beach. We could watch the MK fireworks from the beach at 6:15. Perfect!

We have another land and sea booked for '04, and decided to stay there again. The rooms are very spacious and the CMs are great.

Have fun!

I agree. The Polynesian is my absolute favorite. A close second is Port Orleans Riverside (I still like the Dixie landings name better). I really didn't like the CBR either.

I'd like to try the Beach Club someday.

Thanx for all the info on the poly, i won the vote so i have changed the ressies. Actually i would'nt care of i had a towel and slept on the seven sea's lagoon. VACATION is vacation anyway you put it LOL :jester: :jester:
