Grand Floridian vs Swan vs Coronado Springs

I'm doing some research and wondering what resort I would like to try for my next trip. Last September I stayed at CSR and absolutley loved it there! While I wouldn't mind staying there again I would really love to try another resort and since we won't be staying as long for the next trip sometime next year I wouldn't mind trying something a bit more expensive if just for the bed. See both my boyfriend and i are spoiled when it comes to a nice bed because we have such a nice one at home however the one at CSR didn't bother us to terribly much it certainly didn't come close to our one at home. I heard from the podcasts that the Swan hotel has some amazing beds. I've also heard with a AAA discount they aren't as expensive as staying at grand floridian. Though it's always been my dream to stay at the GF since I was a little girl but it's always been out of my price range and still is. It would be a dream come true to just stay at GF for a night at this point that the extra money wouldn't bother me to terribly much if it were worth it. I'd like to know if it really is or if I would be dissappointed in staying there versus just staying at the Swan. I have a year to figure this out but some input now would be helpful. Thanks in advance. :)

I love the GF its my fav! Come on over to the GF FAQ thread if you have any questions about the GF.

I have never stayed at the GF (but want to!) but would also recommend the WL. It's a deluxe resort, but less expensive than GF. For a shorter trip, we like being closer to the parks and to water & monorail transportation.

We stayed at the GF last December and loved it there! I thought the beds were very comfortable. The pillows are extremely big and puffy, which is great for me, but others may not like that. I have also heard that the Swan has a special type of bed "heavenly beds" that are very comfortable.

Last October was my family's first trip to WDW. We had booked the Poly but got upgraded with a $800 discount to the GF. We got the Magic Kingdom View! It was great. The pools were great, the beds and pillows were great. We are planning our next trip this coming October. We were planning on the GF again, but have decided that Epcot is our main park this year so we will stay at the Yacht Club. If anything changes we will definitely head back to the GF. I loved it, DH loved and DD5 loved it also. And BTW, it was NOT stuffy as some people say it is. The atmosphere is just great! And the views are phenomenal!!!!

Thanks for the responses, seems GF is winning here. :) At this point I think it will all depend on price or where I want to be closets to. Thanks for the WL suggestion I actually thought of staying there for my last trip but the prices I got when searching for a room on the Disney world site was just to much. If I can get a cheaper room than GF I might actually try staying there. GF is such a dream hotel to me though even with price it will be hard to choose I think. We'll see I suppose but like I said before I have a year, I plan on trying to go back for my birthday next year since it has already past this year.

Let me know your opinons still on this topic though, my mind has a year to sway back and forth. :)

We've stayed at CSR, GF and the Dolphin. We, too, loved CSR. Of the three, however, I'd give the edge to GF. We simply had a great stay there. The beds are wonderful -- actually better even than the Heavenly Beds at the Swolphin. As two adults, however, I might actually choose the Swan because there are so many terrific restaurants within easy walking distance when one stays at an Epcot Resort. Also, transportation to Disney Studios and Epcot is so easy -- by boat or, even better, by walking.
