I have a reservation for my upcoming trip. I have been seeing many reports that the restaurant is worn out, needs updating, and is just plain dirty. Has anyone been recently?

It's a lovely experience, our last time was 18 months ago. I don't recall it being run down or anything even close, but then again I don't look for stuff to be wrong.

Enjoy the tea, it's a nice, relaxing time.

We went last fall, but I have been many times in the past. It has never seemed worn out or dirty at any visit.

Looked fine to me when we stayed at GF late December to January of 2018/2019.
Didn't eat there because most of the same food was served in the club lounge and the lounge tea was definitely a highlight of the offerings.
Now, Mitzner's Lounge was in need of an upgrade and I' glad it's getting it.
Thinking about booking a tea @ GF for DGD and her bestie since neither of them were there for our GF stay.

I don't know if you watch vlogs, but TheTimTracker did one just a few weeks ago of the tea. They did reference that it seems a little dirty and worn out.
