Grand Floridian Sugar Loaf Conc Has Been Great!!

we've been here for 4 days now and everything has gone wonderful. the conc's have been very easy to deal with and have gotten us everything we asked for. they have jovial with our 3 kids and have been very professional at the same time. we couldnt have asked for a better ending to a 2 week jaunt. this place will become our #1 conc resort- overtaking the yc. the food has been fresh and actually tasty. we dont use it for meals nor do we drink, so it doesnt bother us that there isnt any alcohol or that the food isnt an actual meal. the conc's have been 4 for 4 on ps's and all on the same day requested and at the requested times.






THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY DISNEY!!

Good to hear you're happy there. I agree - it is my favorite too. I hate to read all the negative stuff about GF. I know everything can't be perfect 100% of the time, but you tend to hear more bad stuff than good stuff on these boards. Thanks for the glowing report!!!

We must have passed each other this week, we left on 1/30-ours was the 4.5 yr dd screaming she wants to stay and we should just ship the dog to her. I agree the staff at GF Sugarloaf was exceptional. They tolerated our man requests for milk in bottles, juice, soda, etc. The food was great, 4.5yr old raided the cheese tray every night, they even saved some for her when we got back after 7. Concierge was exceptional they handled our prority seating changes exceptionally. We even got reservations at DTD
Rainforest Cafe same day(they called at 4,we were there at 6) and we actually were seated within 5 minutes of arriving

We drove down, so notice big difference between Hampton INN beds vsGF'sThey were so comfortable it was hard to get out of them in the morning.
Housekeeping was great, turn down service didn't do the animal poses (kids would have been too tired to notice anyway), but when our daughter was sick they helped a lot!
Yes there was some mold up near the ceiling behind the curtains, but it is Florida and I have yet to see a hotel room without it.

yes, we had 2 laptops with us during our stay- we travel quite a bit and carry them everywhere.

we stayed offsite at hifs for a few days and at the wl for a few days also

we were at the pga merchandise show in orlando and then universal and the wdw

and the sugar loaf is by far our favorite resort.
