Has anyone done the My First Manicure or Pedicure (ages 4-10)? It is $30 (25 minutes). I would love to hear your experience! Do they do anything special?

Just want to make sure it's worth the money.

Thank you! :wave2:

I've booked the My First Manicure & Pedicure for my DD next week. Feel free to PM me after that & I'll give you my feedback!

We did the My First Manicure last year. My daughter enjoyed it, but I was not terribly impressed. I think it depends upon who you get doing the manicure. The woman we had was not super friendly, and honestly, I didn't think the facilities at the spa were all that special. My daughter wanted a french manicure. She said that cost extra, and I said that was OK. But then she only gave my daughter colored polish to choose from. I have a picture on my computer at home, I'll post later.

The skin care guy was wonderful there. My daughter has some kind of allergic reaction going on on her face. It was red and bumpy. She had sunscreen on, so it wasn't just a burn. He put some Jurlique stuff on it, and gave us a big sample to use for free, and dd said it made it feel better.

Weregoingtowdw - Have a great trip! When do you get back? I will PM you and find out how the manicure/pedicure went. Thanks! :wave2:

Tongatoast - Thanks for your review! I had a feeling it was "just" a manicure. Not sure I'm willing to spend $30 on that. My girls will only be 4 and 6. Maybe when they're a little older... Thanks for the pic, too!

my 10 year old daughter had the manicure and also the facial in december. she loved every minute of it, she had a different manicurist than previous picture. i thought it was well worth the money, it was a very special treat for her, and she loved her pampering.
