Grand Floridian SLConcierge ?

Let me know if I'm being unreasonable:
This is our 4th stay here
We are paying rack rate (our stay is nov 8th)
I have e-mailed my adr's over 24 hours ago.
No reply, I e-mailed today to ck if they rec my request
They returned a message " they are working on it" this was at 9am
Its now just 4pm and no word.
I love the resort, and all its convenience, but never had any over the top service. Today I'm just feeling alittle disapointed.
 
Joelle- I don't have an answer to your question- just wanted to say "hi" to someone else with my name! It's not very often (actually, only twice) that I hear someone else with my name!

I sent them mine. Then I e-mailed and asked for a confirmation if they were able to get them. I waited a few days until I knew that the last day of ADRs were 90 days out and then e-mailed them asking if they were able to get them. They e-mailed me the itinerary. I would just send another, sorry to pester, I am on the edge of my seat e-mail. I find I get much quicker response if I am being overly nice versus snippy. And I am NOT saying that you would be snippy at ALL.

I agree with you that for the money, they should always reply to the first request with a plan of action and then at 7:15 the morning of the 90 day out, let you know if they got them. But I guess they have no clue how anxious we all are about those ressies. Good luck and I hope you got them all!

They made most of ADR"S .I will keep trying for the others on my own.
They stated they were very busy with hoiliday request and thats why it took so long.
Well:
back to the start of this post, about slc...I think it's lacking customer service.
To bad we have to give up one thing to get another.
Your paying for convenience and location, so we have to over look the other.

Sorry they did not get all your ressies :( and also about the attitude.
 
Wow, it looks like table service restaurants are going to be really busy because of the dining plan. Even concierge couldn't get all of your ressies at 7 weeks out. That's why a lot of people book concierge for this convenience.

I will have to say that GF IPO got all of my ressies at 90 days out or even earlier (I'm not sure). I have gotten a response from them almost immediately. So, I haven't seen service lacking.

Keep trying to get your ADRs because people cancel all the time.

Thank you! Yes we will, we are very excited.
One last note after telling dh what happened.The apology was fine, they didn't have to give additional info, of being busy with holiday request,
giving us the feeling of being less important.
