Grand Floridian Refurbishment

The concept art seemed to indicate a certain thought of what was appropriate but they didn't follow thru. I assume Covid and supply change would be the excuse but they elected to push up the refurb date at VGF ahead of others scheduled before it (VWL) likely to support sales of the new resort studios. More lead time might have allowed the better look and probably function that was installed elsewhere.

And VWL sits there waiting........

I didn’t think about the push ahead due to the new sale but you are probably right it played a role.

It is too bad the concept art and the actual rooms didn’t match up. I don’t mind the new ones, but then again, I am easy to please when it comes to the look of a room.

It will be interesting to see how close the resort studios come to the design. And I can’t believe they still have not yet started or announced a start for BRV.
