Grand Floridian Question

I'm staying at the Grand Floridian for the first time. Because my DD's are such light eaters we don't enjoy buffet's. (We paid $9.99 per child at Ohana's and only the DD 4 ate one chicken finger the other ate a slice of bread.)

For that reason, I prefer a sit down dinner. Which restaurant would be appropriate for children? My girls are wonderful in a restaurant but have their moments.

Unfortunately the GF has no moderate sit-down restaurants open for dinner. Narcoosee's and Citricos are both excellent dining options, but much more adult (and much more expensive). Unless you want fast food from Gasparilla Grill and Games, you're best taking the monorail tot he Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary or Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. The Kona Cafe is a safe bet.

We did like the Kona Cafe, at least for breakfast, while at the Polynesian last month.

I'm thinking Room Service is a good option.

How about Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL. My DD was two last June when I took her and it was around lunch time and particularly quiet that day. Food was good and they treated her like a princess. If you go on a busier day they have lots of interaction with the guests.

We stayed at GF in Dec and we ate at the Whispering Canyon one evening and our daughter enjoyed it - although it may have been riding on the wooden horse that put her over the edge to really loving it. We enjoyed the Plaza Restaurant at MK also.

Narcoosee's is probably your best bet at the Grand Floridian. We always see lots of kids every time we've dined there.
