Grand Floridian - parking access

We are grandparents and our trip to Orlando includes us, our son and his wife and 2 grandchildren

Son and wife are having a childless evening out for dinner at Victoria and Albert's in Grand Floridian

grandad has offered to drop them off and to pick them up so that they can enjoy wine with their meal..........will they have any problem going into the parking area if they tell the security attendant that they are just being dropped off, and more importantly will my husband have any trouble getting back in later to pick them up.....we ar staying at Windsor Palms......

I don't think you'll have any trouble. The gate guard will check their names on the dining lists and you'll be given a short term parking permit.

There will be absolutely no problem if they are just dropping off/picking up. You'll probably be directed over to towards the valet area as the self-park is a bit of a hike from the main lobby.
