My family (older) is going to Disney at the end of August and we're staying at the GF. I've booked a Lagoon view for my parents with a request for the Boca Chica building which (if they get it) I'm assuming refers to all the lagoon side views on the eastern side of the property.

My question is how visible is the MK from the Boca-Chica balconies with those views? Obviously I didn't pay for an MK view but could they see the wishes fireworks show if they stood at the edge of the balcony and looked in that direction?

What other buildings could they get? Big Pine Key is definitely a lagoon view but do they count Sago Cay and Conch Key?

Our last trip, we got Disney Magic upgraded from a standard room to a Theme Park view room in Boca Chica and it was amazing! I'm not quite sure which ones they call "Lagoon" as opposed to theme park, maybe the ones on the end farthest away from the MK? I would think that from any of the rooms on that side you could go out on the balcony and see MK and the fireworks. In any event, the view is fantastic. You can see MK, the Comtemporary, the Poly, and you can watch the boats pass by right in front of your room. It is by far the best view we have ever had at WDW. We loved it!
