I just read some good reviews on the GF cafe. I would like to try it for dinner. Would it be easier to access the GF from Epcot or MK? Is it possible to access it from either??

THank yoU!!

Much easier from MK. Either get on the monorail at MK and get off at the fourth stop (the monorail will stop at Contemporary, TTC, Polynesian and GF in that order) or get on the small boat launch at MK which will take you directly to GF.

From Epcot you would need to ride the monorail to TTC and transfer to the resort monorail line which will then stop at Polynesian before moving on to GF. There is no bus access to the monorail resorts from Epcot; you must take the monorail.

MK - you can take the boat, or the monorail directly.

You can take the monorail from Epcot, but you have to change lines at the transportation center.

I've only been there for breakfast, but it was very nice.

Anybody know if I can get from GF to the POP? We would have late reservations and would probably head back after dinner.

Would I need to go from GF back to MK then take a bus to the pop??

Thank!!

Yes. Sometimes people will tell you to take the DTD bus from GF to DTD then transfer to the POP bus but I have found that the busses to DTD are the ones we all wait the longest for. Now that could be just my Karma, though;)

A cab could another choice.

We ate at GFC on Sept 27 after our AK day. We rode the MK bus and took the monorail to GF. After dinner, about 9:30, we wanted to boat back to MK, but it was shut down for the night, so we monorailed back to MK and took the bus. We got to the bus stop just in time to see the Electric Water Pageant. Easy Peasy.
