I was perusing the menus on allearsnet and noticed that this place sounds pretty good! Any opinions on dinner there? Also, does anyone know if the fondue dessert is including on the dining plan? DH and I will be eating there and most likely splitting a meal. Thanks! :tigger:

I agree with you, it does sound good. We tried to fit it in when we were there in June but just did not get to it. I remember seeing good reviews for the Cafe from posters who's opinion I would trust. Be sure to post if you make it there.

I ate there twice in the Summer, and had lovely meals. I ate fish in a beautiful sauce, and had the fondue which was delicious. I wasn't on the dining plan so I don't know if it's included. The restaurant itself was quiet when we visited, and the service was good.

We ate dinner there in September and enjoyed it. Our server was awesome-I think his name was David. IIRC, the fondue can be on the dining plan if 2 people order it using both desserts. I would not recommend sharing a meal there; the portions were not very big. I had baked brie appetizer (yummy but only about 3-4 bites; it was very small), the chicken and polenta, and my dh had prime rib. I can't remember what dh's appetizer was. We each had 2 of the bite sized cakes for dessert. I am a pretty moderate eater, and I ate everything on my plate and left with a comfortable tummy.
