The Wave is still on my list of places to try. We eat at GFC every trip and have always thought it was one of the top meals of our trip!

We enjoy the GFC. The food is really good and it doesn't feel like too much of an ordeal to get a meal and get out.

My husband and I were just debating this same dining reservation. We’ve eaten at the Wave, but it was 5 years ago, and I remember the food being very good, but the ambiance made me feel like I was back in 1992. It really needs an update.

I think we’re going to choose GFC this time. Anyone had the shrimp and grits?

I'm eyeing up the shrimp and grits too... Although being from England I've never had grits before!

What is your favorite thing to order at The Wave for dinner?

I’m feeling like I’m skewing heavy on steak for my September trip. Steak 3 times in a trip isn’t bad, right?

I'm not vegetarian but I've enjoyed the sweet chili tofu entree at The Wave. However the recipe may have changed since I last had it, and it may be a different sauce now.

I like the food at both places, but the Wave is louder and kind of crazy in my experience, on several occasions there seems to be a lot more kids. Kids crawling all over everything, the booth next to me kicking, under tables crawling around. GFC is more relaxing to me, the restaurant is not as loud, the crowd is generally more adults, or better behaved children. I know this is completely subjective, and maybe this isn't the norm, but it has always been like this when we go to the Wave. Often times we've eaten appetizers and had drinks at the Wave Lounge since it isn't as crazy as the main dining room. It is probably more dependent on what time of day you are eating, I'm not sure.

I usually order soup, salad, and fish tacos at the Wave.
I usually order some chicken entrée at GFC, sometimes shrimp appetizer.

At GFC we usually have a later reservation, after 8:30 usually, and the restaurant has been very nice.
