Sorry, I know I'm full of atmosphere & noise level questions, but I need guidance & my DH isn't offering any. :rolleyes2 For some reason, I'm having a hard time deciding where to eat in May & my ADR window has passed. I've been reading about GFC being a hidden gem. What's the atmosphere like? I want to try something new after Spectro one night, & I can't decide where to go. We like to choose restaurants based on food quality, & try for a quieter, relaxed atmosphere when possible. TIA for the help. :flower3:

Imo it's very relaxing. It is more quite than some of the other dinning opotions. The food is good. The steak is wonderful. I really enjoy this place.

it is very quiet adn relaxing (at least has been the serveral times I ahve gone) the steak and mashed potatoes is fabulous!

Great question, I'm planning to eat there in September. It sounds just like something we're looking for.

it's very quite and relaxing, I had a chicken dish with polenta and it was really good.

We felt like it was our best ADR of the week. Great food, calm, quiet atmosphere.

We ate there in Aug, on a last minute whim, and we loved it. The food was great! We were seated along the windows that have a view of the pool...the place was busy but not noisy at all.

cannot wait to try breakfast there next month

We love the GF Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The atmosphere there is almost serene, very nice. We love this restaurant so much, I almost hesitate to give it a great review - we'd hate for it to become the next Le Cellier! ;)

If you're looking for good food, quiet, & relaxed, you've hit the nail on the head with GFC. Also, it's got a great adult breakfast.

You're going to love it. DH and I hit it every trip now at least once for breakfast. The stuffed croissant is HEAVEN - stuffed with sweet creamy sauce and chocolate chips, covered in fresh berries and with whipped cream on the side  :cloud9:

Thanks for all the feedback. It looks like a good choice. One more thing... how's dessert? Appys & entrees I can take or leave, but dessert is a must on vacation. ::yes::
