The only thing I have been able to find about this is the GF offers an Intimate Dining Experience that includes a server, or "butler". And according to the link below from 2011 the cost is $95 per person for a 5 course meal, $75 for 2 hours of service from the butler and $25 per hour after that.

No, the valet and lady's maid are usually sufficient to our needs.

My suite mate in college had a maid and butler who came with her the first day. They unloaded the car and then unpacked all her belongings in the closet, etc.

I remember lugging DD32's stuff up to her 3rd floor dorm room!

OP, here is a link that describes private dining and what the Butler's role entails. Unfortunately there is no butler service at WDW that you can have assigned to your room, like you may have experienced during some of your travels to Asia and maybe other places.

You can still do this and I do believe the fee is still that same $75 for 2 hours...

Thanks!!! We booked the Grand 1 and wanted to hire a butler for our time on board but couldn't find the current info. I tried calling GF but it's been frustrating trying to get a hold of someone. Thanks so much all, and thanks for the comments on the blog

From what I found, you have to schedule this through Disney Fine Dining, not the resort.

Yeah they put me in touch with GF fine dining and I left a message a few weeks ago, but no one has called me back ... I'll guess I'll just keep trying.
