Grand Floridian Beach Wedding

Hey, was just browsing the Disney Website and saw the beach locations in the Wishes section. The beach between the Grand Floridian and the Wedding Pavilion looks beautiful on the website. Anyone done this? Or know any costs? Thanks x

I'm pretty sure someone on here had a beautiful wedding on the GF beach, but I can't remember who, I'm sure they'll chirp up though.
The cost is the same as the WP.

I can't remember her name, but I believe it was a Canadian and Scottish wedding. I remember the groom and groomsmen were wearing Kilts on the beach, and I think she had a mad hatter cake with Canadian and Scottish flags on the mickey head topper. I bet you could search thru the Wedding cake thread and find a picture she posted, then search and see if she had a PJ.

Oh I remember that too...and if I remember correctly she said how HOT it was!!! Literally!!! We thought about doing this but we have never seen the beach look as pretty in real life as it does in pictures.

My dad's god daughter was one of her bridesmaids, so if you can't find any of the pics I will pm you a couple she has on facebook. I'm pretty sure she has a pj on here, her username is Scottish/Canadian (or something like that) and had her reception at ADH. It looked absolutely stunning!!

I considered doing this too, and think it would be really beautiful. I decided against it because I would just be too worried about rain, but you might be able to get the WP as a back up location.

My daughter is being married on the beach by the wedding pavilion on june 23rd. We scouted round on our trip last year and it is absolutely gorgeous there. you still have to pay the $3000 for the wedding pavilion though. It's your back up in case of inclement weather and also no-one can use the paviliion while you're on the beach. my daughter is having an arch of flowers. We are all so excited

I can believe you're excited! I'm so excited now and my wedding won't be until October next year! Don't know what i'm going to be like nearer the time.
