I have a reservation next month for afternoon tea... I was wondering if anyone knew about the Prince Edward's Tea - It says "A delicious array of assorted pates, and English Blue Stilton, the "King" of English cheeses"... does anyone know what type of pates and cheeses they are?

Can't speak to the pates as they aren't my thing, but the Stilton is a great blue cheese. Here is a picture of it (though this was the presentation when you order it seperately):

It's delicious!!!

That does look yummy... we aren't sure which to order... just trying to do a little planning ahead.... we aren't much of a pate group ourselves so maybe we will just stick with the sandwiches, pastries, scones etc....

You can order things ala carte if you aren't sure you want any of the all inclusive meals. We often will get one of the big meals and then a plate of Stilton and a couple extra pastries and split it between us all.

I've done Buckingham Palace and it was great! (HA! - sorry, I sometimes have the humour of a 12 yr old.) A lot of food though (IMHO) so for our group of four next time, I'd do two of the full offerings and and a few a la carte iems and then share with the table.
