Grand Caymen Car Rental ???

HI all..this will be our 4th Disney Cruise and we are as excited as the first time! I have a question about renting a car...In the past we have always rented cars..St Thomas, St Maarten..with no problem. Is it worth it to rent a car in Grand Caymen? Is it difficult? What company should we use? Has anyone done this? We usually find we save alot of money and see alot more of the islands when we go off on our own.

Definitely a good idea, you can do and see a lot with a Car in Grand Cayman. Driving on the left is pretty easy, just follow the car in front of you

We've rented there numerous times and the best company by far, best rates, best (reliable) cars is Avis-Cico and they offer special cruise ship rates on Grand Cayman Cruise Excurions .

As per our usual M/O ...and thanks to your suggestions...I booked us a car for the day. Even if it's only for the afternoon, we wil still be saving close to $150 just by renting our own car! We will be snorkelling with the Stingray until noon..then come back and pick up the car and go around the island until 4 or so.

Looks like Gr Caymen is taken care of..now I'm off to work on Key West and Cozumel.!
