Grand Cayman question...

A friend of mine will be in port in Grand Cayman the same day as us next week but on a different ship. Where is a good place near the port to plan to meet each other? Are there any landmarks we would easily find?!!:happy1:

well, you could meet at the tender location, as i think most ships use that same little dock for tendering. hope this helps.

There's a Hard Rock Cafe just across the road (and a little to the right) from the tender pier. Might be a good place to wait if timing is a challenge!

I agree the Hard Rock would be the perfect place to meet. Out of the sun, have a drink or some nachos, right across the street from the tenders.

I'll third that, very convenient. And it'll keep you out of the line of fire of people trying to get tours and taxis and such.

When we were there we ate at a place right across from the tender pickup called Bay Breeze. It was delicious and I had conch fritters. We had a great time there and sat outside to enjoy the sunny weather.

Somethign like Hard Rock would be a good location. Don't do the tender dock because there are two docks that the cruise ships use (about a block apart). You don't want to be waiting at one while they are at the other.
