Hi
We are heading to western Caribbean Disney Treasure cruise in March :)
Party of 5, my mom -73yrs old; brother/SIL and niece -10yrs old.

My mom can walk, but needs to avoid stairs and rough terrain due to knee and hip issues.

Have you done the Crystal cave excursion pls? How hard was the walk through it?..

If we all sign up for it, but my mom decides not to go into the Cave is there a comfortable facility (and restroom) where she could wait for us?

Same question for the zipline/skylift tour, can she join and decide there if she wants to do the skylift or wait for us..?

Appreciate your thoughts, thanks!!

Can't answer your questions, but I would absolutely not leave your mother unattended in Jamaica, even at an "attraction". Nope. And remember, other countries are not nearly as accessible as the US. There are some videos on YouTube, have her watch them and see if it is something she could do. But again, I would not advise leaving her to wait for you in Jamaica alone. I personally won't even get off the ship in Jamaica, but that is just me.

I’m 75. My knees and hips ache a bit but I’m pretty active playing all sorts of racquet sports . Have you asked your mom? I was at the grocery store today loading bags into the back of the car and some guy, with good intentions I’m sure, asked if I needed help. When I got home I was irritated. As I told my husband…I’m not an invalid! I hate when people think I need help! Just sayin we are very capable.
