Have a dilema. Think I'd like to do stingray city, but want to go to the beach. The stingray city and beach tour sounds like a long day, it leaves at 8:30, think DS11 might get bored. Also it goes to Rum Point as opposed to 7-mile which I heard is nicer. Would it be better to do the stingray city and then cab it to 7-mile beach. Also is there a difference between DCL excursion and Capt. Marvin?
Can't wait until Mar. 12.

I would definately go Captain Marvin. It is Cheaper (I think) and a lot less crowded. They have a good reputation and it is a short excursion (both of them) so missing the boat is not a worry. When we did it, thru Disney, we did Stingray and 7 mile island. They must have changed it. You know, since the hurricane, you may want to check out the conditions of the beaches. maybe that one is nicer right now (I have no idea)...just a thought. As far as "a long day" I don't remember feeling that way at all. The stingray part is a couple of hours (and awesome) and then you go to the beach, have lunch and hang out as long as you want. We stayed an hour or two and went back....it was very relaxing. Good luck, but check out conditions in the area, don't know how the hurricane affected them.
