In Grand Cayman, our daughter (12 years old) wants to swim with dolphins, but the rest of us don't. I found the 2 excursions (G48, G49) that are the combination dolphin/stingray city. One is a dolphins swim, and the other is the dolphin observer. Do these 2 excursions go together? Would I be able to sign her up for the dolphin swim and us up for the observer part?
Thanks!

We are also looking into this excursion. The "Know before you go" section at the bottom does not state anything such as "Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a person 18+" as I've seen on other excursions. The only thing I noticed that I would make sure of though are these that were listed if she is doing the swim alone and you all are doing the observation deck:
  • Guests on this tour should be strong swimmers. Lifejackets are provided and required.
  • The dolphin program takes place in approximately 20 feet of water in a natural sea water environment. Guests will enter water via a floating plastic platform. Water shoes are not necessary.

We just did the exact tour you were talking about.

Our whole family including our 8 year old loved the swim and stingrays. There was nothing to be concerned about in the Dolphin pool in regards to swimming. As for the different levels, from what I saw, the level of interaction goes up with the price. Our swim time was nearly an hour.

As best as I can tell there is only one Dolphin place enough on the island so they should all go to the same center. You may just want to work with Disney to coordinate times and travel buses there.
