Hallo everybody,

in 2012 we already did a tour with captin marvins to stingray city. We really enjoyed our trip. Soon we´ll go back there. I saw on their website that you can combine trips. So i´m looking for people who have actually done that.

I contacted the company and they told me we could do Turtles and Hell in the morning, and then stingray city and snorkel trip at 1.45. - Website states that stingray trip takes 2,5 - 2,75h. Ship leaves grand cayman at 5:30. Has somebody done this (or even just taken the 1:45 trip to stingray city) and can tell me if the time frame is big enough to get back to the ship.

I was looking into disney trips as well, but my daughter will be 4 (almost 5) but they only offer this for kids 5 and over.

Thank you in advance :)

Is it just stingray city? Or are they going to two other snorkel sites as well, if it is just stingray city, I think it would work, you're only there for 30-45 minutes, but if they're combining it with other sites, I'm not sure you'd make it back in time. You can easily take a cab and do the turtle farm and hell on your own.

We did the 1:45 stingray and 1 snorkel stop last fall, and were back in plenty of time for the tenders to the Fantasy.

We tried to book the earlier stingray trip (11:15am) but we were told that since the ship doesn’t start tenders until 10:30am, they couldn’t in good faith book us since we likely couldn’t make it in time to catch the shuttle to the boat at Captain Marvin’s

Thank you so much for your input!
They wrote me back we could do the 12oclock trip to the turtles and the 1:45 trip to stingrays/snorkel.
I´m still a bit unsure if there will be a rush and if it is worth it. Last time we had an amazing time at stingray city, and i want my daughter to see them as well (wasn´t born yet the time we went there). But also thinking my son (and us) want to see something different, that´s when the idea came up to fill the day with both (especially after reading this posibility on their website)

They can do JUST the turtles? I adore turtles but have zero desire to willingly be in water surrounded by Sting Rays. I thought when I had looked at them before there was no way to separate the turtles and ray encounter. If they have them separate now, that is awesome news!

The turtles are combined with a visit to Hell.
We did the stingrays before and it was really amazing. After stingray city we went for a short snorkel. My son 7 dad time had a blast :)

Hmmm. Interesting. I have NO desire to purposely get in the water with those things as they freak me out and the thought of being in with that many flapping all around me? EEWWWWWWWW!!

I may just have to forego the turtles as sad as that makes me. No interest in anything I have seen about Hell either.
