Grand Cayman Beaches on our own

Does anyone have any recommendations? We did the Stingray City thing on our last cruise to Grand Cayman and this time would like to just go on our own to a beach to spend some time. I have read about 7 mile beach and Sea Grape Beach. Does anyone have any insight on either - I'm looking for how far away from tender pier, how to get there/cost of taxi, amenities at the beach (restrooms, food, etc.) and any other info you can share.

We went to Sea Grape Beach on our own and had a great day! If I remember correctly, we paid $5.00 for a beach chair and they were plentiful. The cab ride was short. I don't remember how much it was though. It wasn't crowded there at all. The sand was beautiful white powder. My kids liked it much better than the beaches at Cozumel. It's on a slight slope but it's very very nice! There are float mats and water sports there as well and there were lots of them. I liked it better than Cozumel! No rocks and sea grass !!! The people were great. I can't wait to go back.

We too were looking for something different to do and we found this Cayam Jeep Safari tour to Rum Point Beach

I like the idea of having our own jeep and following a guide so that we don't get lost and miss the ship I do like Cayman but don't want to stay there

The tour will take us to the Tortuga Rum Cake Factory( I LOVE RUM CAKE!) the cliffs at Pedro's castle, all over the place and then to Rum Point Beach which I have been to once and loved! Clear crystal water that is shallow so you can walk out forever I can't wait!!! They used to have the best Mudslides in the world too!
