I was wondering if it's possible to book the villas at the Grand Californian 7 months out? We are looking at going during June (next year) or December but not any peak weeks, they would all be during Choice season. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

I've had no problem the last 2 years in June getting a studio right at the 7 month mark...others have reported similar experiences, so while it is not a guarantee, it definitely is possible.

I booked for this June at Grand Californian about 6 1/2 months ahead and I luckily managed to get the last room available for one night during a two week period (I was flexible on the exact date). So I'd suggest calling right at the 7 month mark and there should be more rooms available than only 2 weeks later.

I booked a studio for August about a month ago, so that would be 5 1/2 months out. However, there was very limited availabilty. I was only going for two nights and I think there were only two choices during august for 2 consecutive nights. That was at 5 months though so I think it would have been easier right at 7 months.
