Hi.

I was wondering about the types of suites as Grand Californian?

If you get a 1 bedroom suite, does the living room having a sleeper sofa? Any ballpark range that such a room would run?

Finally, what about a 2 bedroom suite then that might work better, approx pricing?

Thanks

I can only speak from my own experience - there are definitely one bedroom suites because our family has stayed in one! The living room does have a sleeper sofa - not the most comfortable but better than some other sleeper sofa's I have slept on! I can't remember exactly but I think the room ran us about $500/night. Also, the view with suites is hit or miss but you can request a theme park view. We requested one when we made our reservation and we had the most AMAZING view from our room. It was like we were actually in the park - we stared right into the big waterfall/drop on GRR. Our kids LOVED it. We were on the next-to-highest floor.

Your best bet is to get a quote from Dreams Unlimited (owned by the company that runs these boards), AAA, Get Away Today, your favorite travel agent, or just call Disney directly to get the most up-to-date current pricing. Remember that if you have an Annual Pass, there are discounts on room rates. I believe there is also a AAA rate.

They have a wide number of suite styles that not listed on the official Disneyland website. You just have to call someone to ask, as none of us have stayed in all the ones they offer. I have only seen a handful of them, stayed in the 1 bedroom artisan suite, and toured the Frank Lloyd Wright (Presidential) Suite and the Greene and Greene Suite - slightly smaller than the FLW one. Eventually, the DVC Suites will come open, but those may not be open to purchasing guests as they will likely fill with members - there aren't very many of them. Less of them than the DTD view rooms, and there are only around 120 or so of those.
